I'm about to make a deposit.

Hi all!

I'm from Scotland and am a bona fide Vauxhall fan, being a memebr of the Autobahnstormers, TotalCarlton.com, OpelEntusiasts.com and the OmegaOwnersForum to name a few and I'm just about to make my first foray, (sp?) into 4x4 ownership.

The reason(s) I've chosen a 'Fronty' are many fold and if you want bored to tears then please feel free to ask, but I'll save you from the details for the time being.

Upshot is, that tomorrow I'm going to look at an '03 plate 3.2 Ltd 5 door car that I'm most likely going to put a deposit on, and while I'm wondering what I should look out for, I reckon I should've found you lot sooner!!

So am I in for a delightful spell of ownership, or should I reach for the valium?

hi rod, welcome to the site mate, for info on buying a fronty and what to look out for you've come to the right place, plus you'll be in for plenty of happy years with the car, the valium come later once you've goner mad like the rest of us , i'm sure there'll be plenty to read up about the 3.2, and if you need advice, just post up and we'll be more than happy to help,

I've lots to find out yet as this is the first time I've logged on, so please forgive my naivity.

Just quickly though, what should I look for when viewing a 3.2 Limited 5 door?

(I know I should search, but I'm going to see the car first thig tomorrow!)

I can't believe I've not found this site before, I've been looking for something like this for weeks!!

Well, I've paid my deposit and I pick it up next week.

What do you think of THIS?

It's smaller than I'm used to, (Omega), but I'm quite impressed with the way it drives.

I'll fill you in on the towing story later. It's not that funny really, more Ironic!!

BTW, while we're on the subject, do any of you know the max towing or train wieght of this particular Frontera?
