Drive out to North Wales

Me thinks I'm having a drive out to North Wales tomorrow Sat 12/5 .
Might take in a couple of easy lanes,
Any one fancy a last minute trip?

Sandy and I are out in Radnor Forest (next to "Water Break It's Neck") otherwise you know we might have joined you.

I would have liked to however I have just cracked open a good bottle of wine
and am in the mood to drink all night meaning poorly tomorrow lol
Probably best as my shiny fronty is not off-road worthy yet.

Well I went on my own, as I was just outside Llangollen I got a phone call from Leo saying he had decided to come.
So I went and pottered around the lane at Glyndyfrdwy, then shot over to the top of the Horse shoe pass at the Pondarosa Cafe to wait for Leo in his Surf.
We then went back to Glyndyfrdwy did that lane (again 3 Times for me today )
Then went over the Cieriog Trail to Llanarmon.
Leo was a bit startled at the angles he found his car on

We where going to have a pint and a lunch at the Hand pub in Llanarmon but the village fete was on and there was nowhere to park.

So off over the wayfarer we went.
Had a great day, it was just a get out the house day, worked really well.
We dint start till after 12 and were home for 1730.

First time Leo has been laning since his episode in the snow

We only saw one other 4x4 on all the lanes, a red 90 on the wayfarer and the very nice lady passenger opened and closed a gate for us

Found a great picnic spot on the wayfarer it even has a slate seat and table.

Wayfarer + picnic + laning +my 2.8 = a fantastic day out

We never had a picnic, but I know where Ill be taking Lee and the kids on a sunny day
No chance of getting stuck on that lane

It's good to see that Leo has returned to the lanes and has finally gotten to do the Wayfarer and White Stones to boot.
