I've had a 2001 2.2dti ltd from 6 months old and only just found this forum. I wished I found it sooner as all the solutions for the problems I've had are here ( leek off pipes, airbag light etc..).
I would like to know the cheapest way to lift it 2" or so.
What size tyres can I fit on the standard wheels ( 245/70/16 bfg a/t) with/without lifts.
Is there a any need to lenghten the breather pipes? ( without lift)
I've got some wheel spacers of ebay, but am two minds as to fit them now.
Any advice on painting cavity wax / underseal with a brush!!!
I use the car every day for work, on a weekend its used to tow my boat and pull in and out the sea.
Its coming up to 107 000 miles with only normal servicing and one new clucth.
I'm probably going to have to get a 2nd car soon (kids starting school), so I'm think the frontera will probably be stoping on as a tow car for the weekend, hence the thoughts about tweeking it slightly,

Any advice would be welcome.

I've used the search, but they nothing hard and fast about it, I just finnished reading about lifting a frontera b, only to find that is got springs.
There seems to be so many diffrent types of a / b it's a little confusing.
Thanks for you help Red Oktober, its a bit Hard core for me.
