Frontera Technical Support

Hiya. Joined after having seen a moderator on the WHR Bordon day yesterday, who sang your praises!

I have a Frontera Sport (1994), which I have bought to have fun in and she did me proud yesterday!

I need some info about fitting a winch to the front of it, can anyone help?

Have you tried doing a search of the site for info on winches :wink:

One of the chaps with a winch fitted will help answer your question otherwise

I think there are only two currently active members with winches; "Gotafrontera" (Luke) and myself.

Have a look here and here

"DifflockDave" and "CocoTheChef" also have winches, but don't post as fequently. Coco's is fitted to a Calmini winch bumper (with another winch at the rear)

cocothechef here, i have a winch bumper fitted to the front which is from carmini but is only for the frontera B, also had a winch fitted into the rear of the car keeping most of the rear bumper, which was done by 4x4rus at warwick, http://www.4x4rus-online.co.uk tel no. 01926 411995.
