Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Today, after clearing the drive, I got the blue Sport S home after having it parked at work the last week or 2. Loooooong drive was looooooong (~25 miles)... and embarrasingly slow (1.5hrs, inc a food/cool down break)..
![]() Anyways, guess what I'll be playing with over next couple of days to see if my problems are more extreme than they might be?! ![]() Don't confuse your books:

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!You will be fine Pete, I have done this to an ABS A before.
As I told Chris you need the crossover pipe and vac tank from a Derv B series, I have a couple of dti's here I am breaking so can so can sort you out the same parts that I did Chris if you wanted to do it... I have done a few now, as the OE vac tanks rot out in the wing space, and are an awkward shape to remount, wheras the B one is much more accomodating, nestling in nicely where the birdness used to be. All you need extra is a longer rubber vac pipe to run from the pump on your alternator to the t-piece in the cross over pipe... Be good to see you Pete, havent seen you in ages, pop up when you are next over Maidstone bud... Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Had a look at the camber as I have had a slight pull to the left since fitting the Calmini arms, N/S was out so removed a couple of shims and its now about right. Then went to check and adjust the tracking only to discover the NS steering arm was slightly bent. Fitted my spare arm, just need to order some new ones from Milners
Finished the electric fan bracket, painted it and attached the fan. New fan thermostat switch arrived so hoping to fit them soon. TBH I have been driving it for the last week without a fan, as long as I don't get stuck in traffic or climb any really long steep hills its OK, heater is the best its ever been Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Driving home from work today I had some really horrible sounding grinding/squealing noises from the front.
Popped it in the garage, jacked it up and it looks like something was trapped behind the brake disc shield. Turns out it was what was left of the one of the brake anti-rattle spring clip. Spent over an hour trying to find one in my spares stash but no chance, plenty for the rear but nowt for the front. Found some new ones on eBay and should be here Thursday Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one
