From my point of view, yes this event is full (I am a designated leader and will not lead a convoy of more than 4 vehicles - GLASS Code Of Conduct)
Ste (Drift) will be leading the second group of 4 (5 for Saturday morning). I'm sure as Ste is a CRAG member, he might have limitations on group size - Ste ?
Unless another leader is forthcoming, this event is full.

Just a couple of comments:
It's not necessarily about mods, more about a willingness to lead and lead by example. A knowledge of you rights while laning could be advantageous and a cool persona should a confrontation arise.
A little experience in the terrain to be driven is useful to pass onto the novices in the group and having driven the lanes in the past is a bonus.
Good on you Luke for taking the responsibility should a 3rd leader be required.
