Finally managed to source a solid rear tank guard, now all painted up, they are getting like hens teeth for a good one. While off also replaced some fuel pipes at the back that were looking past it. Now found one of my sills has turned to tissue paper so need to get that welded up. Bloody tin worm

New rear trooper springs and monroe adventure shocks fitted and another few turns on the torsion bar, no more saggy ass Nothing snapped and no seized nuts or bolts, that's the good thing about buying a Cornish truck, hardly ever see salty roads.

Got a new starter yesterday.

Next days a new exhaust and a fresh bulb for illumination oft the instruments, and Grünstreifen will be fit for 2016 (MOT in October).

New steering idler arrived today to replace the one I bent at a P&P the other weekend

Its booked in for its MOT on Tues so will be giving it the once over on the weekend as well as replacing the idler

drove over a speed bump and the torsion bar adjuster bolt snapped....... went with one hell of a bang.... luckily only a few mins from home.......

Replaced radiator last night with the new one that was sat languishing on my donor truck.Seems to be running a bit cooler now.

A friend sorted the brakes and tested them at a MOT Garage, looking fine.

Today checked from beneath and several other points. Had to replace only both bulbs of the city lights - thank God for my gynecologists-fingers...

Good luck on that one JEOH, IIRC our simple little MOT simply pales into insignificance when compared to the TUV Test/Inspection...

With the help of Bobbinsjob we did the front brake pipes on my B. Could vx have possibly put and more bends and twists in them? Also we found out that brake pipe 'kit' supplied joints arent threaded to the end and the ones in the engine bay are so won't screw in at all. Anyway thats another thing ticked off the mot fail list thanks again for your help Ian.

Tried to do new caliper but no banjo bolt with new flexi/caliper and wrong pads without wear sensor , very annoyed !
