Hi guys, I'm Charlie from Newport, South Wales. I'm picking up my 99 Fronty B dti on Friday and can't wait!! It's a swb with 80k on the clock in blue, but is a bit poorly. Needs a new back box and when the owner drives above 70mph the eml light comes on and it drops to 60. He has taken it to a garage and they has said it's the maf sensor from the diagnosis, so could be a cheap fix

Hi Charlie and welcome to FOG. Is it your first fronty? Yes the maf is a common fault but is an easy fix.

Hi, this is my third fronty

I had a 2.0 sport with a redtop and a 2.8td sport in matt black. I have seen a few genuine maf sensors on ebay for under £55 so will get one of those I think and fingers crossed should be ok :dance:

well, I have just done a 67 mile roundtrip home with no eml light on the dash and the engine was pulling quite well (seems a bit sluggish compared to my 4.0 Jeep) but overall I'm really happy with it and what a bargain!!!
£575 for a 84k dti
