Bought another one so I now have a small collection of frontera's. ( think I need therapy )
1 the green swb on/ off roader
2 the new swb for on road only
3 the pick up swb
4 the sleeping pod
5 the 2.8 lwb breaker

Ah yes I was. But I have small problem with that now ( no trailer or A frame)

Changed all the oils, added Molyslip, and changed filters. Started lower ball joint and outer CV boot job for MOT. Used all my energy on the lower ball joint taper, it finally came off after an hour or so, but failed to get the CV of the drive shaft, will try again tomorrow.

Finally did the heater matrix it's a biatch of a job and took me a few hours but overall looking back not a bad job.
Still prefer to do a clutch though.

well today i collected my new(to me) calipers since mine are sorta buggered...

and cleaned them up and started to paint them...

Finally got round to fitting the marker lights that i've had sitting in the glovebox for months, I also changed the gearbox oil extended the rear diff breather pipe to above bonnet height and greased up the prop sharfs and brake unions,

Today I fitted a CD player into the new swb. Tomorrow I will have to check the exhaust on the new swb to find the leak because tonight I went for a small drive in it and could taste and smell the fumes in the cab.

Yesterday had the new tyres put on at our local tyre fitters and had my new logos put on !

Had a look at the exhaust on the swb and found why it's leaking the oval plate on the downpipe has rusted away so you can't join the downpipe to the middle section together. So I've either get to buy a new downpipe or weld a new clamp onto the old one.

Changed three faullty bulbs:
City light front left and both luminating the reg plate on the back.

Now it is glooming as the §§ is expecting.

Made a start on the a bighorn get the mot work done rniw its drier. Remived side step snapped two bolts gave up

today i drove the duck to look at another frontera...

a little white leafer

With the help of a mate, replaced the broken cam belt, bent pushrods, re did the tappets and she roared into life.......

Me is a happy chappie...

Those 2.8 and 3.1 engines are so forgiving when a cambelt snaps. Glad its sorted.
