Home section on website

Anyone else having any issues, when i click on Home section i get kicked off the site.

Want to see what new posts have been added but unable to at present.

how do you mean kicked off? logged out? try clearing browser cookies and try again or click on 'board index'

Try clicking "board index" then "new posts".

It seems alright for me Pete.
You can always clock the link "board index" instead.

As a side note, the more observant of you will have noticed the lack of our custom calendar, the home portal and other bits and bobs. This is a result of yesterday's downtime, which was aimed at improving speed abd stability of the site without breaking the core forum.
If anyone is having issues, I'd recommend logging out of the forum (not just closing the browser window) they've clearing your cache before logging back in. This hopefully should sort it, by removing any old and outdated stuff which is confusing your browser.

If you still have issues after this, pop up a post with as much info as possible and we'll look into it.

It kinda does Stu, it just should refresh back to the board index as thats where it is pointed for now.

Dont forget he's using scottish internet Ste...so it probably doesnt point on his computer, it more likely hurls a can of tennants instead.

If i log out i can only get back on via link from facebook.

If i enter website address in browser it just says unavailable, same if i click on "home" at top of page, web page disappears.

i've been getting wwwfronteraowners.co.uk is unavailable or may not exist. for most of this afternoon. only just managed to get back on now using a different browser

But all sorted now, i checked the addy and for some reason it was wrong...let just call it user error.

Yer Pat it was off line for a while today and unfortunately for a very short time this evening.
Things should be settled now and the forum servers and software updated, in your old browser clear the cookies this should sort most problems out.

The forum should be online all the time now and even a fair bit faster to load

I could not get on using my bookmark link all day yesterday. Just tried and still could'nt and noticed the dot between www and fronteraowners.co.uk was missing from the address on the could'nt find address pop-up. Put the correct address into address bar and got through. I have just see bhcalcutta's post and his website address is also missing the dot. I'm using Mozzilla. Is there a reason for the dot to go missing from a bookmarked address or is it a case of it was always missing but the system ignored it until the updates were implemented?

i had the same problem as andyoz - couldnt access via my bookmark so had to google fog and find it that way. i bookmarked fog again once found but now the original and new bookmarks both work ! im using chrome and ff !

Thats correct Stu, it now stays here rather than the home landing page
