not 100% sure i'll be in attendance this year.

the mrs had a fall at work and done her back in (now she's called Glassback) the NHS have decided that in the last week of april they are going to give her steroid injections. So it will depend how she is. but that said I may pop down for a day visit.

Is there the option to turn up and spectate for just one day of the meet ?
if so what's the "day rate"?

Your more than welcome to turn up just for a days spectating but you wont be able to use the site unfortunately as that would be unfair for those that have paid.

If your sticking around for the BBQ a small donation to FOG for the food or a donation to the raffle would be gratefully received

Hope to see you there :D

Right getting the truck ready for the annual, D shackles for the front are here as is the new bridle strop and i have also ordered up a 5 meter strop whilst i was at it. Still to come and will be here in time, CB, Rear Weld On D Rings and Snorkel, not going to get my lift sorted in time though i dont think :( funds are the main issue...

Repeat after me, just because they have raised my credit card limit does not mean i need a pair of +2 coils...

But it will decrease the chance of squashing your sills.
Go round all the side step bolts with penetrating oil for a bit, so everything should be free, then if you decide you want them off it's simply a matter of borrowing somebody's socket set and off they come in a few minutes.

Been to the site already this year with Pete (Loneranger) for an event he put on. The site is savage to say the least, 2 discos with snorkels took a drink, a tay back yota screwed the front prop and sheard all the bolts in the N/S/F freewheeling hub, several had more scars than they arrived with and there was a lot of winching going on. These were modded trucks on Simex pattern tyres, without mud tyres at 31" plus and sufficient ground clearance you'll spend most of your time as a spectator.

Liecester Lanes will be open (Liecester don't close for the winter), these are the lanes we did the first year FOG was at Sibbertoft. Hopefully the Northant lanes will be open in time (opens 1st of May if they remember)
