Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
Seek not excess, God hates he who roams !
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!It went click again at work and one was forced to get a jump start, the truck that is, not me sadly, although she was cute... (very) still I degress... Picked up a new battery thing from hellfrauds so it was old battery out, new battery in when I got home ... Bonus, truck starts
Now got one of these things under the bonnet. (111 beer tokens wth the discount card). This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Up-date on the body lift drama of yesterday, barrowed a gas axe and sliced the head off the bolt to the OSF mount, lifted the body after disconnecting various bits and fitted the pucks barring the OSF and NSR. Free'd off and remove the sheared bolt from the NSR and fitted the puck, removed the viscous fan in readiness for fitting the electric fans when they arrive tomorrow. Hopefully my "new" mount for the OSF will arrive tomorrow as well, thanks Andy.
After that I can tighten all the mounts up modify the gear shift appature in the tunnel and refit all the carpets; seat; threshold liners and the various disconnected bits. That leaves the front bumper lift ( do the same to mine as I did to Pete's (Loneranger) and rework the heavy duty fella at the back. Down side is now I'll need a stepping stool to be able to get in but it does look the bogs dollocks. Regards Stuart Remember, keep the greasy side down!
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!yesterday I welded the plate onto the o.s sill and repainted it. also done the door and wheel arch rust and painted.
fitted the other rear bumper and the manual hubs. just 2 bulbs to replace today then MOT at 5pm tonight ![]() SIZE DOES MATTER!! MEMBER 1728 1996 2.8 SWB called VIPER Members Ride section for VIPER Comments on VIPER here GET YOUR CARTOON CAR HERE
