WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Well i left cambridge at about 6. And now at 20 to 9 im back in cambridge. The front crank seal has gone again...made it to the very start of the a11 (j38) and boom. No pas, dim head lights and some smoke (oil being sprayed onto the exhaust). Got recovered back to my mates house and we about to try again in my mates polo...so no chance of me getting stuck in norwich

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!How many front and rear crank seals has that truck had ?
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Technically two replacement rear ones, and one front one. Though the rear ones are partly due to another issue which chewed up the first replacement rear one. The crank end was scored and bust the first replacement one we put in. The second time round RobFog and I spent about 2 hours under the truck with some very fine wet and dry and a pot of oil turning the crank end into a mirror finish to avert the second seal we installed from meeting the same fate. That was a very tedious job.
