Replaced rear caliper, disc and pads.

She stopped before. Unfortunately she also ate the discs, pads and seized the caliper

Thankfully I only fitted discs,pads, shoes to the Dti not long before it went pop so I nicked them

What are you doing with the old calipers and pins Si?

I'll refurb them mate. I did 4 on the Dti, 2 on the 2.5 and 2 on the pick up. Getting bloody good at it now

I can manage it 9 times out of ten without the need for new seals, so no cost involved other than fine wire wool so its well worth doing.

Not today, but last night.

Actually used Beasty for the first time in 2 weeks. She had a rather shiney coating of half an inch of ice on her. Once that was cleared, I had to get her jump started, coz the bl@@dy battery was dead.

Reminder to self.....USE CAR MORE OFTEN. Oh...and get her a service, she's over WAAAAAY overdue.

Changed thermostat today
Now have a working temperature gauge

today i cleared out the boot, and sorted it ready for tomorrow.
cheacked the diff oils, will do the engine oil and later in a mo,
as well i bolted on my roof mount for my hilift jack (pic's to come)
then removed my 2 spare wheels and split my trailer again ready for tomorrow

looking at dans pictures again & i couldnt help but notice that there were already tyre tracks in the snow on the lane
back on topic i fitted a 2nd fire extinguisher, this time on the pasenger side of the dash.
