Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Well the battery seems fine again
Well it failed the mot... He then fitted a new o/s front side light (f-ing thing worked yesterday) and asked me to remove my phone mount off the windscreen and then he passed it Got a load of advisorys tho... Both front indicators slightly discoloured N/s front anti roll bar rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement - even tho they are the orange poli bushes...:/ O/s rear arb rubber bush...same as above :/ Both rear arb linkages have some play - well i knew that anyways N/s front bearing has some play...not a problem Oh and this 1 i wouldnt of said was a advisory...more of a reasurence lol Under-trays fitted obscuring some underside components All in all not bad for the millage and abuse she gets...currently showing 168k on the clock. Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Spent allllllllllllllllll day in -2 degrees fitting a snorkel to Dave's 2.5.
Still bloody freezing even now! Snorkel looks good to be fair considering it still needs finishing off. Total cost I reckon is about 5 drill bits (Dave has a habit of breaking them) and some duck tape to protect the body

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Eh ... you sure ... I have reverse lights and my 2.8 heater works fine ... especially after I relpaced the thermostat. Mind I have been changing the coolant and properly flushing the crud out of the system every 4 months or so.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Someone dug something up ages ago about there being an upgraded heater matrix available for the 2.8, but VX would only fit it if the warranty holder made a complaint about the heater being rubbish. Some of them may well have been upgraded (mine defo wasn't though, until now)

viewtopic.php?f=21&t=48068 Give her a good old flush out. Don't forget you have 2 matrixes ... one under the passenger front seat as well. Though I ignore that one ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Thats funny as I have 2 reverse lights ... both work. Curious as they are the same truck. All I can think is someone changed one lense for a non-bighorn cluster at some point which has the reverse lights in a cluster in the bumper. Bighorns (import) don't have bumper lights. Much like the situation you have with SWB and LWB Series A Fronteras.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!That would figure. Good modification that. Replace one lens from a UK model and convert it to a rear fog light.
