Took it to work n when i came out i found a huge pool of oil under it(the 2.0). Paid Rob a visit n we found the crank sensor abit loose n oil bubbling out of it, so did a quick fix. Got home and just bin out to find another pool under it! Hoping its just what was left over but if not intensive care will be needed!

This the new daily drive i bought with the money i got from selling the frontera Its a 1990 2.8di isuzu bighorn lotus edtion. I absolutley love it. I got it from wakefield jack took me down. Drove home lovely very comfortable quiet and good road handling It comes with factory manual hubs, lsd, drivers heated seat with hi lo setting, recaro seats with lotus embroided emblem, arm rest All round electric windows , factory window tints slight purple. wind deflectors purple, climate control and A/C. Openeing quarter windows on the front. It has few wee rust spots on wings wee marks apart from that its in very good condition the interior is in very good condition for a 20 year old truck looks like it has had a good past. The steering is sharp brakes good an good engine its a good old schooldrive where you can feel everything in the steering and brakes. It doesnt bounce or wallow like the frontera sits nice I only have the ebay pictures and two i took this morning in day light with phone

Nice one Drinks. Look after her and she will look after you. You should average 35+ mpg if you keep on top of services. She looks in better condition than mine.

Did a 110 mile round trip to have a look at a Volvo v70 t5, waste of time but the truck handles fantastically up in the air!
If it ain't broke, fix it before it does!! You know it will!!

Yesterday i did a few small jobs on the v6 ready to go playing next weekend All was good until i investigated a knocking noise coming from the rear. The rear shock bush had disintegrated and it looks like i may had damaged the shock it self Then to top it off today when driving my daily hack (Peugeot 307 HDI) the thrust bearing on the clutch has deiced to give up the ghost

Well after running my battery flat about 5 times since ive had the truck, its finerly trying to tell me its had enough because I left it for 2 nights and it wouldnt turn over fast enough to fire, turned over, but only just not quick enough to fire. Have put it on charge over night and will see how it goes in the morning. Oh and MOT at 11am....I'll let you know how it goes.
My 2.8 shorty - now sold, and comments hereMy old dti - now sold "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW --- What a Ride!" This vehicle runs on 100% recycled dinosaurs
