Just had a Pre MOT ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG

banter general discussions etc

Re: Just had a Pre MOT ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG

Someone at the front dropping the oil and changing stuff under the bonnet.

One person one side doing brakes, with another the other side doing welding.

One person in the back lifting carpet and trim for the inner arch modifications.

Then all move around.

Final touch Fogman in a pinny making tea and bacon sandwiches.

Must be easier than a 2.2DTi rear crank seal and repairing the actual crank while it is in situ.

It may be rainy so a large tarpualin would be useful. Would be a good wind break for the welder as well.

More troops on the way guys. If the weather is wet will throw the FOG field workshop (gazebo) in the motor for a bit of shelter. I have a patent pending steering box adjusting tool I will bring along that I used to shift a near solid adjuster on my last one, (ground down jemmy bar). Word of caution would be, don't take on too much at once, as we might end up with a truck in more trouble than when we started. Remember it gets dark about three o'clock. See you there for an early start. About 6 alright with you Fogman.

Just bought the air filter, oil filter, NGK twin electrode spark plugs, (and a new thermostat for the Trooper). Should of been £42, Halfords trade card £19.41. I love that card.

Between myself and Fudge we have enough steel to fabricate a new chassis if needs be.

I have the oil already.

I am sure we can sort out the gasket with what's in the garage.

I have a reel of copper/nickel brake line and flaring tools, with spare brake fluid.

Plan is to start at 9 am on the 28th. See folks at mine then. Coffee machine and kettle will be on. If Mrs RatCav is up for it cake might be available as well.

Is that everything covered?
