Thought I may say hi...
Just bought my second series A fronty Sport last week, due to winter coming and me not being too keen about doing 25 miles a day on a sports bike in the ice.
I'm down in sunny Poole, Dorset (next to Bournemouth, near France for the northern lot). Red L plate with SS full width bull bars and tinted rear windows. Wave and say Hi, I seldom bite.
For an aging truck, its issues are plentiful, but nothing too severe at this stage. So far...
1. Whining fuel pump - hoping its filter related 2. Occasional squeak in the steering on full lock 3. Handbrake needs attention 4. Driver seat needs the old ratchet strap fix, and internal tarting up 5. Both edges of front bumper are as rusty as a rusty thing 6. Leading edge of bonnet looks like its had an 18-30's holiday in Kabul. Fair few rust spots
not looking to "mod it up", as I'm poor. Am looking to change the light locations on the rear, swapping fogs for tail lights etc. Anyone else done that, or advise against it? Will also put a 3rd high level brake light in, as a biker, these arepretty much invaluable.

Hi mate and welcome to the forum. If you want to change your rear lights the most popular conversion is to purchase a set of LWB rear lights. Then you have 4 brake lights 4 indicators and you will still have the original revers lights and Fog's.
Regards Bobster.

It is fairly easy just need to take a couple of wires down to the bumper lights you will need the plugs from the LWB aswell. If you get stuck just send a pm or i think someone has allready done a thread on the conversion somewhere!!!.

Thanks for all the great advice! Hopefully I'll be giving this a shot in a month or so, need to get the more "pressing" issues squared away first!

Even though I appear to be driving the slowest vehicle in Dorset, it's good to be watertight on a day like today.
I'd hate to be doing the 10 mile blast to work on my bike today...
by the way, anyone got a front bumper for a series A sporty? My end bits have gone rusty and I like shiny stuff.
