Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!You will need a turbo first my friend, and the 2.0i in your profile doest have one sadly....
2 options... 1.Replace your normally aspirated 2.0 with a C20LET out of a calibra turbo, then you can have a boost guage, and a dump valve to go one better than Dwifty... 2. Fit a vacuum gauge instead, doesnt tell you much but gets loadsa needle movement with is coooool! Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY! Follow from the air filter, it goes through the airflow meter, then through a bit of pipe that looks like its falling apart (on most 2.0i sports), then it comes to the throttle body, then the once silver shiny alley which is the inlet manifold... Actually we had better start at the beginning... If you sit in the drivers seat (the one with pedals by your feet and the round twisty thing with the noisy button in the middle in front of you), and reach under the dash (plastic thing with knobs and dials on) with your right hand (the one nearest the door), you will find a little lever...pull this and the bonnet clicks up, you only need to pull it once, and you dont need to brace with your feet on the dash or you will break it,... Now get out of the car, opening the door first, Yes you can now let go of the bonnet lever, as its easier to open the door with that hand... Now get out and walk round the front of the car (if you find a spare wheel, you have gone the wrong way, so turn right around and go back to the drivers door and try again in the opposite direction) And then lift the bonnet, there is a little flap you need to lift between the bonnet edge and grill (not the one in kitchen, the one under the bonnet that the headlights sit in), lift the flap and lift the bonnet at the same time if you can. the bonnet wont support itself as you will have just found out and hopefully one of your hands isnt now trapped, if so you will need someone else to pull the lever in the car to release it again... calm yourself down after the "scary noise" and repeat the above to unclick the bonnet again, but this time use the bonnet stay to hold it up, far less noisy and painful... then carry on from the start of this post again to find the inlet manifold!!!
