Hi again all.
Just been to the Cotswolds to buy a W-reg white diesel 2.2dti. £1420 and she seems to be in order. Cruised back to Bristol and have done a bit of country lanes and city streets. All seems well. There's a squeak under one of the rear seats, but that stopped when i gave a friend a lift. At 70-80 on the motorway I could hear a continuous flapping/tapping type noise but I can't figure out where it was coming from. Not too bothered about that, but would like to find out the source somehow.
So it has done 130,000 - what can start to go wrong? It's had a new diesel pump a couple of years ago. What about the cam belt/chain? I've only got MOTs and the odd receipt, so its' really hard to tell. Maybe I'll just enjoy it and look after it... and shut up for a bit.
Anyone want to buy a 1992 Mitsubishi L200 Strada? Beaten up with 190,000 on the dial but solid as a rock?
Back soon.
George.

Hi Jason - yes, it was. I was quite surprised the bidding stayed that low. I'd deliberately got away from the computer to avoid bidding over my limit and resigned myself to not getting it - so I was quite chuffed when it came in for me. Blind purchase, so I was a bit nervous and don't normally bid on pictures and promises, but pleasantly surprised when I went to get it.
Seems up and together. The dials are a bit squiffy, but there's life in them most of the time, so...

Think it would look OK on the SWB tbh, just not sure about the LWB. Although stripes do break up the white
