Another new world - hello everyone

Hi all,

I've jut bought a 2000(w) 2.2 DTi - and I pick it up on Tuesday. It's a fleaBay blind purchase, but I was happy enough with the answers to my questions to bid, and I won it.

It's replacing a Mitsubishi L200 Strada import that I love, but it's time for a change and I wanted something that will do motorways and fit in parking spaces. I had a Nissan Skyline before that - so I've been to both extremes of the handling/speed continuum. Now it's time for something a little more sensible - but capable.

I've heard a lot about electrical faults already, so thought I'd best join the gang and see what's what. I used OC forums for both previous cars and they're invaluable.

Anything to be wary of? What are the marque-specific foibles I should check before I trust it on any long journeys?
