And that's from when you took the Smart up there!!!

Pluka,

We're looking at possibly keeping it to the same time scale of a P&P Day ..
10am till 4pm .. of Course people will be arriving and departing all across the day and there's a pub reasonably local which might do Hot Food.

After the "Event" there's a choice of
A; Belting across to Tissington Ford and doing a couple of High Speed
Runs through it to blast some of the crud off
B; Belting back to the Boat house in Matlock and having a Drink .....

or C;
Doing both !!! lol

i dont think ill be able to do the ford as i went through the calverton ford last night and seem to have running water coming from under the gear stick 9 didnt no this untill i opend the door)
unless i can seal it up im going to have t be careful of how deep i go

i supose i should have took notice of the signs (DEEP WATER) before i went trundling through i think ive got to take my gear stick surround off and fill the holes before next sat if i can get it sorted ther will be no stopping me and i may come to the ford as well but im still a on for the quarry

The thing about Calverton is you have a deep Ramps into the Water ,
I went through a few weeks back , the bow wave shot over the bonnet but overall depth was maybe 2ft !! difficult ford to judge as there's no depth Marker

yes i think it was about three foot deep covered my lights on a slow run through
then hit the windscreen and covered my led lights on my washer jets on a quicker run through
im hoping to get the holes sorted and possibly a snorkle ( temporary one )
fitted before next weekend
i only live a couple of miles away from calverton so i regurlay go for a splash through although last night was dark and deep puts a whole new perspective on driving in the dark when your lights are submerged lol

very nice, it's a good ford for freaking people out if you do it right!!
Head from the Lights towards Calverton, wait till there's someone behind you then don't slow down as you take the ramp off and into the water ..
as for Night fording, done it a few times down here and it does jump the "Puke" factor right up.
