Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!i know kust considering what formation to mout them in either 5 up front as alight bar infront of the sunroof or go 3 in the middle of the nudge bar where there is holes for two and then mount the other two wither on the top of the nudge so i can see them from in side so i know the nudge has not fell off see above images for why. or below under numberplate so .
considered putting 2 each side on the out side and ine in the top will photo shop some options over the next few days to see what the wife approve of and what i can do with the bits i have. now i have managed to find a proper centre bracket thanks to glynn was considering either these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-SCANIA-DAF-CAMION-LKW-STEEL-TRUCK-GRILL-LIGHT-BAR-/140573695676?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CommercialVehicleParts_SM&hash=item20bad85ebc or these for the roof http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IVECO-EURO-CARGO-92-02-TRUCK-ROOF-LIGHT-BAR-HIBAR-/390094784615?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CommercialVehicleParts_SM&hash=item5ad3760867 cheers

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!If using them for "on road" use, I believe they should be fitted in pairs; eg. 2,4,6 etc.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!i dont mean to be funny but lights on a light bar they tend to be in 5s
and there is no statue i know off that stiplates the amount of or sequence that fog or high beam lights have to be in, from my understanding of the law the lights on the front of the vehicle have to be white, and as long as your normal driving lights are white and on the front there ok, spots and fogs are classed as additinal lighting and so not part of the mot and as long as they are not above i think it is 500w as this is where they dazzle on coming traffic if used as driving lights then they are legal as full beam should not be used when on coming traffic is present. someone on here will no dout have the exact definition seeing as most lorry bars are either 3 low and 5 high see the links for the lights i was thinking of buying. cheers

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Roof lights are illegal to use on the road in the UK even if they are fog lights, I think the fog lights need to be mounted below the line of the headlights, but roof lights are definitely illegal on UK roads.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!As far as I'm aware Dean, any roof lights are illegal when used on the road...regardless of how many there are. Only the ones on the nudge bar would be allowed for on road use. BUT I COULD BE WRONG!

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!so if roof lights are illegal in the uk how come so many lorries have them and so may 4x4 have them and i could of swore i said i was putting them in the soft nudge bar i got off andy as a moot point on the subject

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!You said light bar so assumed you where fitting them to the roof not the bull bar
As said they can not be used but can be fitted, they may get used offroad but no on lanes as thats a public highway or used as work lights. Ste

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Going off topic slightly with this aspect but have a look at the Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations 1989 - full legislative should be contained in it.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!I agree with Drifty. Pic three is the bast. I however would put them all on a roof bar, and get two round ones for the nudge bar. But that's just me.
