Its the way you drive mate...not the tyres, they take some getting used to... Look through the SE archive Neal, li'll white leafer campaigned extensively on them tyres, Jammywagonwheels first visit to the woods was on them as his a/t's couldnt hack the damp mud, Krushers 2.8lwb's first visit in the mud was on them too...and no breakages... If its not really really muddy, you need to keep em lit up and on the loose stuff, so you dont bog down or kill the clutch...If its dryer so you cant lite em up then the little 2.0i lump will struggle as it doesnt produce enough low down grunt to turn 32and a bit inch tyres up steep stuff...thats when the clutch will take a hammering as you need to keep the revs up, but without any momentum.

Ahh ... that makes things clearer Greg.
Well he has fixed his gearbox now, replaced his clutch, so just the front diff to go and he is set. Here is hoping Fudge can actually get to drive around the site next time.

Cheers Ste. It wasnt just because he owned a Frontera, its just that I dont like seeing anyone stranded but because he was a Frontera owner,I just gave him one of our flyers though and I also told him that he will get great advice & help from here too and he said that he will possible join here.

I turned the alarm off...after it began making a crappy "chirp" sound. Reset it and all was hunky dorey.
