Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!i dont keep breaking it when the lump game out i some how managed to pinch the pipe and it then leeked when it went back on. moved the pip down a bit so the clamp went over the tear to seal it and it was ok till i opend her up on the way back from picking my son up form a gig and it seems the additional pressure made the split worse so this morning i went out nd changed the pipe for another one of the many left overs from the spare engine i got to find 20 mile down the road the pipe had split the same. so bit the bullet and spent 4.50 on a metre of servo pipe from garage and then slapped in on with new jubille clips.
had to get my daugher out of bed to go to my hiuse collect the wife and gearbox filling kit out of the shed and wait for them to arrive. half an hour latter back on the road. the kids bring in the emergeny filling kit ![]() the silly place they put the filler hole. ![]() the fact the kids thought it funny dribbling atf down the pipe on to my hands ![]() my responce ![]() cheers

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Almost finished the rear crank seal yesterday on Hipo's B. all we have to do today (read this evening) is the last few bolts around the bell housing, slave cylinder, gear and 4wd stick, both props, starter motor, couple of heat shields, and the interior trim.
The crank seals on the X22DTH are a pain in the arris to fit. The normal way is to tap them in lightly with a hammer. This one if you hit it too hard it will just deform and break. As for me I found a Mk.III Lotus edition bighorn in a scrappy and got a limited edition steering wheel centre boss. viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626&p=474705#p474705 ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771

This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you....
