i used it dump the bricks n rubble round back to dump. Thats me down 117 miles on bio diesel with no further issues

Yesterday I washed the car - looking good having had the polish applied last week. Tackled the roof lid - nuisance getting rid of the white lines in the base of the vinyl grooves. Black polish says - "apply to cloth and rub in circular motion, then buff with clean dry cloth" did it improve things, nope. So I took the bull by the horns and tipped about two capfuls directly to the lid (having taken it off the car first) then using the applicator cloth squeegied the liquid across the lid then finally lifted off the excess, not that there was much because the lid drank it.
It was looking good after that - this morning it raining and Wow, what an improvement.

dave i use black boot polish on the roof of the sport. works a treat and only takes half the time to do + only needs one coat every 3 months or so

Thanks Rod, was going to use that but was worried in case it went streaky white. Today I intend fiing one of the rear hubcaps that is down to one screw block.

Went to see Robbie and his trusty code reader. Turns out the Fuel Shut-off Solenoid is also playing up. The list keeps of repairs seems to just keep growing. Urgh... Well at least she's no longer in Limp Mode.

Oh, and Thanx Robbie. VERY much appreciated. I'll find out tomorrow if the second-hand glow plug relay I got off him cures the cold starting problem.

Went to turn her over, but the battery was too low, she's not ran for a week or so, so to be expected as normally I disconnect the battery but forgot anyway, a quick boost and she was away, had a nice drive and all is well

Hey up Ste i had the same problem. Had to go get shavings for the horses today went to get the truck to hitch up the trailer and it was dead. Quick boost from jump pack and it was away. Dont they just put a big grin on your face when you aint driven them for a while!!!

Lost a spotlight. It fell orf somewhere between Brize and Gloucester

Now looking for a nice pair of 4" LED spots to go on the front.

Brushed out the interior then tidied up the hanging wire which were awaiting switches and diodes for the roof spots.
Used solder and heat-shrink for the joints for cable to cable fixings then put a spot of solder in the crimp connectors to solidify where necessary to one of the switches. Test ran the wiring to ensure the LED was wired the correct way round and bingo, all working. So now there is a concealed master switch for the spot light circuit and a "B" series 4wd push off/push on switch to active which in turn is series wired with the green LED to advise when the spots are live.
Drawback had been when the 4wd switch was outermost and flush with the other switches the spots were on but "in" when the lights were off, hence the master switch. So all working an absolute treat. Got the nearside door mirror motor to lift and drop as it has seized through lack of adjustment - will have to make a point of flexing its motors frequently to keep it good.

Jump started her at work in Ipswich as I accidently left the lights on. Enought to turn, but not enough to fire. Drove to Norwich and popped into B&Q. Came out and turned the key ... nothing. Zilch. Nada

Not even the usual dash lights with ignition on

Popped the bonnet and the live lead was dangling beside the battery. Must of driven part way home on altenator alone

Popped the lead back on and all was well
