Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck. Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left here Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!right got my car running i now have a spigot bearing and fly wheel for a manual 3.2 v6, spare phellum changer, and now i have 4 spair injectors and all the sensors on the engine. as the new engine had everything on it but the starter motor and power steering pump and aircon pump.
so will have a lot of parts including a spare head and bottom end going as soon as i get round to tiding up what i need and what is spare. then have a discount auction so i can try and recoop some of the money i have been had over with on this one cheers

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Thought that might get some ones intrest lol. I got horses45 silver Bserice off him in january and was finding it extremely hard to find a realy good 2.2i engine to put in her so, i came across a VX Brava pickup(2.5td isuzu) that had been in a smash and came to what i think is a very good deal for the engine and what ever else i wanted off it (£200).
So that is now sitting in place of the 2.2i just awiting the converted (http://s1138.photobucket.com/albums/n53 ... 20trooper/) 2.2dit gear box to be fitted, and then wired up.
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Nice one Robbie, that sounds like a very interesting conversion. Any probs fitting the 2.5 or was it pretty straightforward ?
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!the lump went straight in as they use the same engine mounts. i have 2 choices to keep the EGR system or not. The 4x4 can be rewired to work just the front axle very easily so you can use a standerd 2.8 gearbox if you wish. But you will have to change the front and rear prop flanges as they rae diffrent . I am planning on doing a how to when all is done though
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Just hope i can get the pic's to up load propa as they don't normaly lol, as i hate it when you go to a post and the link to the pic's is out of date or have been moved or don't exist any more lol
