WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!i see the neeky japs hid the bolts round the back and if you have either 4 extions or a magic spanner you can get them off if you can find the slot on down th side of the block and it will fit your socket i had to try 4 differnt 17s to fin one that would go over it.
well convetor off and it has joined the starter motor, air con pump, alternator and every ruddy thing else in the boot of the car. cheers

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!just about just been for a soak to calm down.
fkin isuzu lump the one i get tomorrow better work perfect or i am going to return it momentum as spent the whole day getting this one out on my own luckily had the right toys thanks to the kids looking after daddy and had the one we used when we did his serria lump years ago thought it had been sold long ago turn out to his mate with a i can borrow it when i need clause so now just got cant wait for rob to get here tomorrow so i can go and get my lump. another outstanding member of the fog comunity chipping in when needed. and his good lady for letting me steal ther time to help out. hoping tomorrow night to have it sat in place so i can spend the next couple of days putting the half a million bolts back in that i have nestling in the air intake lid. found out the top of the down pipe where it bolts to the manifold had been blowing not the join as i thought something to do with the fact it was not attached to the down pipe apart from a 1cm wide bit that snapped off when i moved the pipe out the way to get the engine free. so need to find a welder next as judging by how rusty the joints are i will never get it off and on again so needs wedling in place while the engine is out seen one at aldi for £49.99 the other day know i should of bought it when i saw it thansk for the support ravcat i needed it i nearl aggreed with the wife and called the scrappy to come and take it awa at one point today cheers

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!it is a really nice 3.2 v6 limited with leather and zavvi gas kit but i only ust ogt it and it stands me at 3 grand with a new engine at least want to abuse it on the beach for the summer and get some fun out of it before i consider flogging it
works out 3 gallons to a tenner so i get 60miles around town to a tenner and if i drive like a saint i get 80 but on the motorway it sits a 70 ish at 2000 revs and i get 35 ish to the gallon after the new head gasket and service or it did before it went wrong before the head gasket was done it got 13.5 ish on 5 and half cylinders i love it the wife did now hates the money pit on the front cheers

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Stripped the front suspension
Cleaned off some more Avalance Adventure mud Cleaned out vents on front discs as they were full of mud Greased wheel bearings Changed retaining clip on inner cv joint Fitted new steering idler Had the beads broken on all 4 wheels and dropped in some balancing beads Binned front pads as they were shot Fitted brackets for steering damper Painted steering damper Still do do Get rid of some more mud from the annual Clean sliders for front calipers Finish putting it all back together and fit the new steering damper Strip, clean and check rear brakes Adjust handbrake Then, take it for a test drive and see if the wheel wobble is still there Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one
