cheers fudge, its not the welds im worryed about
 its the metal that the welds are holding together, it seems to be a host of small dents on the crossmember near the welds  - having said that, both sides seem to have them so maybe its normal and its just me looking for somthing broken but my tank gaurd is defo bent and I think the tank is now touching the floor of the car  My 2.8 shorty - now sold, and comments here My old dti - now sold "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW --- What a Ride!" Dan Tony (Meezermum) tank doesn't carry nearly as much fuel as it used too since he modded the shape of it
 These tanks are pretty flexible though so it's unlikely to leak
