Awesome Pics all round!

One day I will have a healthy enough truck to make the drive up there to come and play too :)
No More Nails, Duct Tape and a big hammer. Who needs a tool kit?!

Just got finished unloading the truck after our first FOG annual meet...and what can I say...

It was Brill...

Was great to meet loads of members who have been acquaintances on FOG for ages, and share a few tinnies and some mud!

Big Thanks to all those who organised the event and were instrumental in its success... 8)

Managed to get our freshly painted 2.8lwb very muddy...and stuck...AndyTats lad is my hero for wading in with the tow strop (as he was wearing wellies...even though the mud was much deeper than his welly's) and Kel and Andy for the double truck drag out of the swamp!
Truck was fine...a bit damp inside (3" of sludge in the footwells) and the central locking and indicators are fried but it still runs fine...

Hope no-one was too shocked with my "redneck-engineering" repairs on various trucks...

A big thanks also from Roma for everyones cooperation, and to Roo for the bed and bowls, and to Rob/Audra for her dinner treats...

Will upload and post some pickies in a bit...but just wanted to bang a quick post in and say a huge thanks to everyone for making us so welcome as it such a great weekend... 8) 8)

PS.... For those who said that Bobbinsjob should forfeit his "most broke" award as his truck was rednecked back into life to drive home....
.....it didnt make it far before the oil pressure went and ended up getting towed by a proper truck (2.8  ) back to his friends house in Kettering, with binding brakes n all!...   Thanks to Kel for draggin his trailer and Rob for running block for us so we could keep moving...
Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon!

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!

Well, we made it back safe and sound, and all the way under our own steam! A huge huge thank you to Rob and Audra who went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I didn't go home on the back of a recovery truck ... though those extra few hours sat in that sunny yet cold and windy field has left us both a little red!

A fantastic weekend, even with the issues with the truck ... Great to see the old faces, as well as meeting the new ones. I hope that the couple of trucks that I worked on/assisted with are still running ok!

I would upload some pics, but with the rebuilding of trucks and general messing around, I didn't take many at all ... the two important ones are:

The "special" chef ...

and

proof that the wheels didn't fall off after I had put them back on Andy's truck!

Massive thanks to all the peeps that put alot of work into making the third annual a reality.
It's when you see the finer details (welcome packs, people doing reccies, bar-be etc.) that it hits home that alot of hard work as gone into this event.
Brilliant weekend. Even enjoyed the dance/club music that was wofting over the fields from the next door neighbours rave bash.
Apologies for shooting off early Sunday afternoon, but I was summoned to be back by 5 so that I could get to my daughters best mates wedding reception evening bash.
Hope all the guys that had problems with their motors got sorted and got home OK.

Well i am also finally home.....
The weekend was one of the best i have had with FOG and as already stated the annual just keeps getting bigger and better.
I made it as far as Birmingham before the bus started playing up by the time i got home i was so glad to get out it put a bit of a downer to the end of the weekend for me.......... But on the plus side i tried to put my new tent up again in the back garden for the kids to have a play......10 minutes and job done

Cheers again to all who attended for the blinding success that is FOG.

Cheers
Dan

Looking through this it looks like everybody had a great weekend!!! Weather was superb for it too! I only managed to get a chopper off the rig this afternoon so i missed everything, good weather included  Oh well, next year it is then. Just tried to phone Andy since i'll be down in the land of scousers the next day or two but no answer.....he's not on the back of an AA truck is he?!? :P

Well the trusty 2.3 got me back to Exeter around 4:30 (it's down hill most of the way and managed to hit 83mph, which is very scarey in this thing   ) but had to pick up the daughter so didn't get home till 6:30
A very big thank you to everyone for a wonderful weekend
The other half enjoyed herself so much she now wants her own Fronty swb or put on my insurance at least (she didnt enjoy sitting in the truck, laning as a passenger and now wants her own)
Have got a few piccies and will post them as soon as we are sorted
