as anyone got a blackberry on three pay and go my son as just got one and i need some advice on getting BBM working

i have a cur-sed work one, but use BBM a lot, whats not happening?

5 pound a month with orang lets you bb all blackberry's its not free sad to say

BBM works through the BlackBerry internet BIS or BES. if you only have a "normal" internet plan you will not have access to BBM or PIN messages.

When I looked into it (just less than a year ago) on the O2 and Orange networks they did not have Blackberry service for pay as you go.

you could get him to try it via wifi, i dont get a signal at home, but i do use my BBM that way you'll know one way or t'other

unfortunatly the HUTCHISON 3G NETWORK DONT SUPPORT UMA so the wifi wont work properly . Also you need the 5 quid a month blackberry service put on ya talk plan as DAZ said because the internet is always on with a BB.

I dont mean on UMA, i just mean straight wifi, when on orange, it supported UMA, but 02 doesnt, I just wifi and get my messages that way, not by using UMA at all, heck if the UMA worked, it'd be switched off . cant do anything else other than emails and bbm, anyway, it dont matter, if he has to pay a fiver, he has to pay a fiver
