The internet giant Google has refused to help Derbyshire Police solve a crime which may have been captured by one of its controversial street view cameras.

It says officers will need a court order before it will release details of a suspicious man and a car seen on the drive of house before a family's caravan was stolen.

Strange thing is, i Sold my old frontera last year and it looks just like the one in the new report.

that has been on here before mate & the 1st time there was a picture of the fronty parked on the drive of the house, cant find it now though

Yeah i remember seeing that on here last year but somehow think it never went any further..I think Google decided to play the ass with not giving the police the requested information because of another matter involving a google owned vehicle being impounded..There playing there hand and making it difficult for the police but they havn't thaught about the owners of the caravan

Ive looked at the street pic and in my opinion the guy doesnt look suspicious to me though,he just looks like he is getting ready to go out in his fronty. I think I remember reading about this last year on teletext and someone reckoned that it was a prank but Im not sure about that.

The way the caravan is/was parked, it would have taken more than one person to roll it back and swing it around even after they had removed the clamp.
He looks like he just had a pee if you ask me.

would agree but maybe he just playing the part. you wouldnt qestion someone who takes there time moving a caravan, but would if you saw someone doing it in a hurry.

eh to be honest unless i knew the house an owner i wouldnt question you just presume its the owner unless they really doing something iffy like
