It wouldnt be difficult to put reinforcing rings on the cv's Ste...we in the SE CV smashing dept just decided not to as, for us with the welded fronts, its better to bust a cv as easy to get to sooner than something else... We were busting them with too much torque under suspension compression...ringing the cvs would help with droop where infairness there will never be as much traction as under compression...
