nice one..

How bad are the "Dips" now?

I think I'm going to wait on doing serious fording until I've got my new boots on $$2.

The one as your going past the island is getting quite nasty. It doesnt take you by surpise as long as you know its there. The main problem is that is effectivly taking down the maximum wading depth of the whole ford for that 2 metre stretch.

How deep would you say it is now? I know last time I went through it added nearly a foot to the depth although when I first used to go through it the dip was nearly TWO extra feet deep

might have a look at directions/fuel & have a look tonight or tomorrow
night as I got nothing to do.

Temple Balsall is different as you turn around & drive back through it to get out of the UCR.
