After a little while dabbling with the japs, and some borrowed (although strangely reliable) time with the green oval, I have come back into the light and bought myself a '96 2l sport

It's old, has a cracked windscreen, the drivers seats a bit knackered, one tyre is illegal, the door is dented, the leccy mirrors don't work, there's no stereo and there's only one key. On the other hand, there's hardly any rust, even on the bonnet lip, the chassis looks solid, it drives tight and brakes straight, my coil spacers have already arrived (Thanks Mark @ MG Autos) AND I paid stupid money for it

I've bought a very large can of WD40 and we'll see what I've really got over the weekend.

Lunacy, but looking forward to it!

Like Greg said, we have a meet up next weekend so if you fancy coming down, your welcome to follow me, or jump in mine if your motors not ready.
We should also have a meet up around Harlow/Bishops Stortford before the summers out too for a days laning
