Hi Ste

Yes I know the lane well, myself and Andy have both driven it. Im intrested to know where you got your information from. I know the lane has been resurfaced (as it was totaly undriveable before, trees growing on the lane) but the work has been completed (to the best of my knowledge) and the signs on the enterance taken down to this effect. There is also no mention of a TRO on the warwickshire county councils website. ( http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/corporat ... b?openview ) I belelive they must of completed it early.

Hi TC,
I got the info while flicking through Total Off Road Magazine.

It might be worth a call to the local ROW officer.

I reconised the area from our pay and play weekend when we went fording to keep us out the pub

There is also a mention about a lane in Lapworth Centenary Way Ufton being closed, this seems a bit more pemanant.

Well i drove this lane about 3 days ago 8) It has a mention about the council trying to restrict cars going over the canal bridge due to weight restrictions. I think it was proposing implimenting a TRO but as of yet it has not done so, there is nothing to stop you driving over the bridge.

I may give the ROW officer a call in the new year as you suggest as there seems to be a discrepancy in the information being printed in TOR magazine and the actual reality of the situation on the ground.

Well i just found this

http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/corporat ... 20Lane.pdf

However there was also a yellow notice saying the work has been completed and limiting it to 3 tonnes. Im a bit confused would this then mean that the TRO has been lifted. I will have to go back and investigate further with andy over christmas when hes free.
