hello people from a newbiejust dropping a line to say hi and this is my first frontera had a issue with it blowing the fuel pump fuse when checked with a volt meter in the engine bay fuse box was getting 36.076 amps for a fuse which is ment to be a 25amp blows everytime i try starting, found website though search engine and i know maxlee of a differant non vauxhall website

When does it happen? At start up or just when she is that way inclined? I'm not that hot on your model of Frontera but if it is an electrical pump and the fuse keeps blowing then there's something up with the pump or you have a short circuit on the feed to the pump. If you have lots of money then replace the pump and find that it is the wiring; if you have lots of time then spend hours checking out all the wiring and find out that it is the pump. Life's like that. If you have lots of time and lots of money.....How did you do it........Nearly 7,000 members want to know. ![]() Tell us the secret and we'll rebuild it from the rims up. You're on your own as far as the tyres go. Edit/ PS... I would try making up a direct feed from the battery, with a decent bit of cable and the correct inline fuse, direct to the pump and if the fuse blows then it is the pump. If the fuse doesn't blow and she works ok then get some Best of luck but. If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.
