Never been there before, so any feedback is most welcome. However, it seems that this is the date where most of us can get together, so I'm sure that we can make it a good one

Silverdale's not a big site and you do sometimes get a bit of stick off the locals + if you aint got many mods forget it as it gets really rutted but having said that it's good for a day out and there's loads of tree's'roots to avoid. It's got no facilities occasionally ther's a burger van and others help out with recovery.
It might be slow but i can go anywhere!

mmh makes me think but - hey got to try it once. An alternative nearby would be Avalancheadventure nr Market Harborough - It's an old Sand Quarry - bit of everything for anybody, who wishes to have a go - facilities are on site. Having said this - the 20th isn't an official Pay & Play Day there - so, i'll check with them. If we wanted to hire it as a Group, it would cost us £235 for the day i.e. we would need approx. 8-10 cars to make it worthwhile. Anyaway, let's see what we can come up with - either way, we are going to make a fun day

Hi Guys
Had a look on Youtube last night reg. Off Roading in Silverdale on the 20th - looks interesting but it also means you gonna need some Mudders or at least some good All Terrain's, judging by the footage seen.

the other ones are just as good but mine still look better Spoke to Jim at Silverdale and he said that quite a few areas are do-able with Standard Trucks but for some areas, he deffo would recommend Mudders and Conversation. Can only go by what I've seen on Youtube. Anyway, of you go now and get those beasty tyres - time to get the Trucks dirty again.
