Na then, we are from West Yorkshire and are on the lookout for an automatic Frontera. I run Land Rovers but would like a more comfortable / reliable 4x4 for my wife. She wants a V6 lwb but i would prefer her to have a diesel lwb or swb.

Have a good look through the different model and engine forums and threads before you decide. Don't rush out and buy the first one you see. The one you want might not be the one you need. If you wait, the right one will pop up when you least expect it. It's the way the world works. You look at a hundred and then find the mate's neighbour was going to throw one out.
When you find it enjoy it.
Watch out for head gaskets on petrol ones and the ones with lots of cylinder heads instead of one.
I've always been of the opinion that Vx Development Dept. have been on something not exactly legal for several decades, lateral thinking taken to the point where they run out of reality.
