Hee Hee Hee, I swear one at Preston Fields was eyeing my Tyre up the last time I went through there!! Maybe I should check my Flat Spare for Teeth Marks too !!!!!

It's a bit Boggy on the Lowsonford side as You go down Past the Farm but once you get through the Ford it clears nicely

Ah ok, shotguns are still cool, use to do a fair bit of it myself when i was 16-17. Parents would never let me have my own cert when i was younger so a mates dad of mine let me buy a .410 (dont laugh!) and keep it in his safe and I always went shooting with him and my mate anyway.

I also use to do ferreting (had 3 ferrets as well as a whole litter of the little critters) then shoot the bolting rabits with the guns.

Im thinking of getting a new air rifle to see if I want to get back into the shooting game. Do you go lamping or rabbiting andy?

yes both :) rabbiting usually with dog and shotties tho. I use the 12g's for most everything these days. From clays to woodcock and pheasant.

I'm (sort of) saving up for a HW100T - sexiest and most finest PCP rifle out there, imho.

Hehe still have a bolt action .410 in my dad's cabinet :) My favourite tool is my semi auto :D

There both nice guns andy. Mates dad had a gun like that, is it a 3 shot? 2 in the magaizne and one in the chamber? If i got another shotgun, id prob go for a 20gauge over and under.

I always found rabbiting with shot guns though not that great cus after uve got one they then dive for the warren and then your screwed..................unless u got a ferret 8)

I once saw my tiny jill drag out a huge buck rabbit by its face, its was a sight to behold, the rabbit was 3 times her size and it was making like this screaming sound, i didnt realise rabbits cud do.

Around here I have a fair few permissions, and a couple of mates do too, so its all around warwickshire / worcestershire / gloucestershire, and up onto the cotswolds really. Mostly out past chipping campden.

I only usually do clays once a month to keep my eye in, and for the social aspect.

Sounds good mate 8) One of the things thats surprised me about shooting was that it is not necessarily the land ower that holds the shooting rights over an area.
