Not today - yesterday... but it all counts... Misfire / lumpy idle / rough running re-appeared Managed a bit of spanner time yesterday... and found... Injector 2 (front to back) filthy split 'O' ring in injector #2 Fuel rail grubby Lamda sensor (new one - grrr) wiring melted against exhaust (SE weekender battle scar?) where the clip had broken engine earth strap loose in the crimp. Fix... Fuel rail off and carb cleaner and the other halfs toothbrush... Cleaned. 'O' ring sized and being collected tomorrow (set of them, will replace the lot in 1 go) 3" of Lamda sensor wiring damage cut out, reattached using 'Jellies' (jelly filled cable jointers - had a few in my toolbag that must have fallen in there from work ) Earth strap recrimped (read - Crushed) back together, new one being collected tomorrow with the 'O' rings, Rear Diff gasket, more diff oil (SAE90), Heat shrink wrap (for Lamda), and found the drain plug on the rear Diff (thanks to Sir-Doris!) Popped it all back on, fired it up, rough idle dissapeared, had to move it as It was blocking SWMBO's other car in which she needed today Spanner time Saturday! Pics to follow...
You cant polish a t*rd.. But you can roll it in glitter
if its broken - fix it if it isnt - mod it!

Today i fitted new brake pads to the rear of my frontera, because the caliper was seized and had worn one of the pads so thin it dropped out, I also unseiezed the caliper , It wasnt me driving it around with a binding brake though .
