Question for IT guys

Just got my laptop back after a repair. Can anyone tell me how to save and transfer my favourites from "Internet explorer" to Mozilla firefox?
They seem to have been saved on IE but there are no favourites saved on Firefox.

When you install firefox it asks you if you want to import bookmarks from other browsers.

However, in firefox if you press CTRL+SHIFT+B it will open the bookmarks organiser, at the top there is a button 'Import & Backup'. Click it and select 'Import HTML'. It will then give you the option to import bookmarks from Internet Explorer.

I use a program called Xmarks ( www.xmarks.com ) for firefox which saves your bookmarks every time you close firefox, it also means you can log onto Xmarks.com from any PC with internet access and you can access your bookmarks.
