Spell check when posting

Spell check when posting

Postby Retro Pedro on Sun Nov 01, 2009 9:20 pm

Is it possible to do a smell check within the forum application when replying or typing a post?
At present, when I have those brain dead moments, I either get the dictionary out or copy and paste the data into 'word', do the check and then re-copy and paste back into the forum.

If you are using Firefox as your web browser you can download a British English Plugin that underlines misspelt words as you type, like word you just right click and choose the correct word.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!

Cheers guys - Trying to avoid Firefox because I want to get EPC 3.0 running again. Believe Firefox conflicts with EPC regarding viewing the pictures.

Yes but you can temporally set IE as your default browser for the duration, just takes a couple of clicks

Yes but you can temporally set IE as your default browser for the duration, just takes a couple of clicks

Create a shortcut icon to ie on your desktop.

right click shortcut icon, goto properties.

target will read "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

afer the quotes put a space then full address of site/page (for example this page)

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" posting.php?mode=reply&f=105&t=29299

apply

press ok.

now the shortcut will open iexplorer, straight to the page you want.
