Scam e-mails

Scam e-mails

Postby SPEEDBIRD 202 on Wed Oct 14, 2009 3:05 pm

Hi Guys & Gals

Hi all

Several people I know, have had e-mails that say they are
from HMRC and are headed Notice of unreported income. These are
scam e-mails and if you get one, don't open it, just delete it.

My friend had 3 of them this morning, but luckily their virus checker has realised
that they are dodgey and rooted them out.

I expect some of you probably already knows about them, but it is worth warning you
just in case!

Regards

dozens of them,

ranging from the tax office telling you to collect a rebate through to customs and excise and HMRC.

Please be aware that if they genuinely want to contact you they will do so by post. Assuming the posties ain't on strike of course
