Hello from Spain

A big sunny hello from a new member in Spain.

I'm currently searching for a nice Frontera and signed up to do some background checks on what to buy and what not to buy.

Cars i tried so far:
a 2.2i gasoline. Car looked really nice but the guy had water in the cooling tank Also the car was damn cheap compared to similar models (too cheap actually, makes you wonder). Also read the 2.2 is the least reliable engine.

a 2.8TDi. Also nice looking and pulled much better then the 2.2. gasoline but rather steep price (4900 euros). And produced quite a lot of white smoke when driving. Could be because it had not been used for a long time, but then again, could not. Coolant and oil were clean though.

My Sally used to live in spain until I imported her...
She used to live Alfaz de Pi in Albir, Costa Blanca...just a short walk from Altea, and a bit longer walk from Calpe...
Really nice out there...but not very spanish where sal lived...too near to Benidorm...but still a lovely place though...
