Does anyone know of any roads in the above areas that are good for greenlaning/off roading. Nothing too hardcore, just something a standard Frontera would have much fun getting muddy in!
TIA

Re: Berkshire\Hampshire\SurreyThere are a few lanes in and around Ranmoor Common / Box Hill in Surrey.
Quite decent with a mixture of terrains ranging from Mud (weather depending) to stone, sand, chalk, etc. Some lanes require a bit more skill than others, but are quite narrow so you may end up with a few surface scratches from over hanging trees and bushes. Also tend to be popular with ramblers so have to keep an eye out and obviously keep the speed down, but that goes without saying really. Exactly where abouts in the South are you ?
Re: Berkshire\Hampshire\SurreyThere are quite a few around Leatherhead/Dorking, but I haven't driven any of them.
If there is enough interest I may look into organising another laning day out that way before the end of the year. Other possibilities are Hailsham, or Hertfordshire/Essex borders Keep checking back regually for South East meets, or why not put your name down for one of the off road meets already planned viewtopic.php?f=63&t=27850 Traffic lights in London are just rough guidelines
Re: Berkshire\Hampshire\Surreycheers for the replies, i'm near Reading in Berkshire. The Army have a decent off road course near Deepcut Barracks which are normally open and unattended. Still need to pop by and have a look though.

Loads of lanes around Alton / Basingstoke / Newbury areas. Just did the Ridgeway this weekend before the seasonal TRO, but its completly closed in parts Here the pics I took, scenery was beutifull, and for those following in the dust clouds it look a bit like this ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 2000 Frontera 2.2 DTi Ltd

Daz, Exhaust is holding up verry well. Should be aable to see for your self soon as I will be round for an MOT in the next couple of weeks.
Stunning scenery, beats the closed in hampshire lanes for sure. Weather was loverly for the drive at the front, but those follwoing siad it seemed a bit dusty Could really do with some wet stuff now, not only for the 4x4 but for every thing as its starting to get a bit too dry here.
