sorry for the noob question but whats this unwritten law ( 4 trucks per lane )? and can there be three groups?

As a general rule no group should be larger then 4 vehicles. The reasons are plentiful, Its not a law but a guideline so as not to clog up the lanes as many lanes can be quite narrow with limited passing places and are shared amongst other users, cyclists, walkers, equestrians etc.

Right, bear in mind that Im only down as a provisional leader until dates are confirmed as Im fairly busy over the next few weeks.

However, for those of you who have memory map Im more then willing to make up overlays suitable for beginners if I cannot attend.

I'll lead a group if needs be, have put a few runs on in the past as Phil will tell you. Andy can you pm me the grid refs and or lane names of those you want to do (don't have memory map, just paper maps ). Otherwise just tell me where we are all meeting up and I'll do a route of my own for my group. I'll leave it with you..

Might be best leaving whitestones for now Andy, considering all thats going on up there. We don't want another Alt y baddy with the woman at the bottom. Does anyone know when are the repairs due to be completed? Plenty of other lanes nearby though
