Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Went and picked up rear glass holdy uppy gas strut things, drivers door leccy window wotsit and bullbar. Also got new pads and discs.
Then I got home, was reminded that I'm supposed to be going to a 40th birthday do tonight for my bruvver's bestest buddy so went back out again, failed to get a haircut and bought a tux that as it turns out doesn't fit (which is a shame cos when I'm dressed up I'm almost good looking so instead I have fitted the gas strut things and my back window now stays up all by itself Don't grow up, just get bigger toys

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!My first 'what did you do to your truck' post
Well, it was the first weekend since I bought it so I thought I'd pick off some of the easy fixes: * Replaced air filter (previous one was a mashed up twisted wreck) * Replaced sidelight and tail light bulbs. Didn't fix it. Damn. Swapped out fuse for another 10A. Blew it. Damn. Swapped it to a 15A. Blew it. Damn. Unpicked the tangled mess of awful wiring to the towbar electrics. Ended up removing the electrics. Replaced fuse with a 10A, everything works * Stripped out the rear carpet, rear seats and front passenger seat (that front Torx is annoying) * Powerwashed the seats and carpet to reduce the smell of Dog and Horse * Cleaned dash and door cards etc to get rid of that awful 'dash gloss' that low-rent used car dealers put on everything... That was it in terms of fixing and swapping things. Still need to get it up on axle stands to have a better look, but having a quick poke round have noticed the following as a minimum will need doing: * Drill out and tap the rear seat mounting holes to remove the bolts that snapped off (every damn one) when removing it, ready to enlarge thr mounting holes and whack a set of larger bolts in there. * Replace front right ARB drop link as it's *not there*... That would explain the wallowing... * Drop fuel tank out and replace or repair the guard and straps * Service! There's something about the fronty - on no previous cars have I contemplated sorting out the niggles, I would normally just get rid... Charming little truck for sure

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Replaced the pedals with some Bling Bling, Wide Boy, Boy Racer types that have a chinese dragon design going over all 3 of them. Didn't think it would look any good, but i'm impressed.
Wife brought a air horn, haven't installed it yet, but will soon. For what it's worth it was worth all the while
