Re: Long Lazy August Welsh Weekend ReviewWell, I'm back, fed, watered and showered
Great weekend, really great. Phil made the routes and gotta give him first mention. From there we turned lazy August camping to wild, wet offroading. The rain did hold off at the right times, we managed two nights round a campfire, fairly dry. The wet this morining on a certian lane was if anything fitting, to do it in the dry is almost wrong. Then Happy Valley and heavy rain, that had washed a lot and was certainly fun. I managed to fight off 2 hangovers, the car ran absolutely first class, ready to go again. Dave, sorry to hear about your Prop, will have a dig around for my old one. Anyone hear from our tent decorator? followed me down a shortcut never to be seen again. I truned around and couldnt find him, as the BBB has no cb I couldnt raise him. Also our PDF expert? did you get wet putting yer tent down in the rain? Hope everyone made it back safe, enjoyed the stay and look forward to the next outing. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"

Re: Long Lazy August Welsh Weekend ReviewJust woke up
Had a great weekend, shame the weather started with a vengence today. Really enjoyed doing Happy Valley, shame that the views couldnt be seen, but hey, it's a reason to do it again A million thanks to all that made the weekend what it was, especially Doris for leading the group I was in, and Alex for his guidance on THAT lane. Harvey was really well behaved, he getting used to the whole tent idea now, he didn't even want to get up this morning, infact he hasnt moved since we got in, he's pooped. haha, that picture of Colley's just proves what I always knew, I really can sleep anywhere Jon, as I said you repaid the tugging favours by retrieving my aerial when there was nothing but water on my side of the truck, so anytime mate Glad everyone got home safe, Jelly, sorry to hear about your car I did take a few pics but the camera is still in the car with everything else, so manyana, manyana.
