Re: too many ....I have the basic TomTom One. I recently had to replace it after the previous one developed battery related problems after 3 years of use (bearing in mind I do about 120,000 miles a year with work so it is on all day every day during the week).
I can safely say it has never let me down before the battery problem, unlike the bigger, fancier TomTom models which seem to be much less reliable. Plus, you can get silly voices for it, although many of them are rubbish. Don't grow up, just get bigger toys

Re: too many ....I know I might get a few funny comments about this, but I personally like the Road Angel range of sat-navs, due to the built in speed camera stuff, as well as MM support built in ... problem is they are not at the cheap end of market

Re: too many ....Morrisons are selling a Navman version for £60 on special offer.
I bought one (gave my older Navman to my brother in law) and it's a good piece of kit. As long as you're not looking for anything too fancy (bluetooth, yada yada) then it's perfect. Took me to Cheshire and back last night no problems at all Astra 1.9 CDTI SRi slightly tickled
